The Launch of UCLG City of Bogota Peace Prize will take place at 17h on the 19 November, 2015 in parallel with the seminar Implementing the Right to the City to Eradicate Poverty, in the city of Bogota. The award will develop efforts to contribute to building peace, democracy and respect for human rights. The award aims to help generate more recognition for the role that cities and municipalities play in conflict prevention and peace building and local initiatives, globally.
